Importing files and attachments
The devices users can import files directly from the device to the configured remote site or the My Files folder in the Docs@Work. Previously, the imported files were by default saved in the My Files folder. You can import one or more files from your device. The following files types are supported:

Images
-
Videos
-
PDF files
-
Word documents
-
Excel file
-
PPTX files
To import files from device to the Docs@Work app:
Procedure

On your device, select the files to import from an app or a folder.

Select Docs@Work from the displayed list. The file.

Tap Back to exit out of preview mode. The Save file option is displayed.

Click Yes. The Import files screen is displayed.

Choose the import location:

Import to remote site
-
Import to My Files
-

Choose the Import to remote site. The Upload Location screen is displayed with the following options:
Sites
Folder -
Select the folder and click Upload here. The files are uploaded successfully.
The files can be uploaded into Starred Folders.

Choose Import to My Files. The Save to MyFiles screen is displayed.

Select a folder under My Files or click NEW FOLDER to create a new folder. Alternatively, save the file under Files.
To share files from device to the Docs@Work app:
Procedure

On your device, select the files to share.

Click on the Share icon, and select the Docs@Work app.

Choose the import location to upload the shared files:

Import to remote site

Import to My Files

Choose Import to remote site. The Upload Location box is displayed with the following sections :

Files -The list of uploaded files are available here .

Folders - The created folders are available here. Click New Folder to create a new folder .

Select the files or folder, click Upload here.
The files can be uploaded into Starred Folders.

Choose Import to My Files. The Save to MyFiles screen is displayed.

Select a folder under My Files or click NEW FOLDER to create a new folder. Alternatively, save the file under Files

You can select a single file or multiple files for import. Preview is not available for files that are not saved in the Docs@Work app prior to upload.
